So for the past few days, Wolfie has been getting used to his new baby sister. She is so tiny… and at times he’s a little too rough… but she is a pretty tough little cookie herself. Her name is still up in the air… sometimes it’s Nala (from Lion King), sometimes it’s Porscha… Nothing has stuck yet… but she is still so adorable and has brought so much joy into all our lives.
Christmas was just a little bit more tolerable since she came to our home! It’s just like she was a tiny little gift from up above… to help us get through loosing our sweet Jake. He was so missed at Christmas!!

From that first picture I can’t help but think “Portion” is the more fitting name. But that second one of your sweet Wolfie convinces me think they’ll make great pack mates.

I absolutely love your new kitten pix. We hand-raised 3 kittens from day 1 (they still had umbilical cords attached). My father-in-law found them closed in a box and covered with fire ants out on the trail. 2 of them live with us and 1 went to a friend. Anyone who wants to see the raising of kittens from day 1 can join my facebook-mary pope.
Anyway, I love this kitten. He/she is beautiful. I love hearing how Wolfie licks him clean and carries him around in his mouth.
One of our kittens will wait at the door for Caira to come in. When she comes in the kitty is standing on her back legs (front legs way up high in the air!) and Caira will shove her nose into that fuzzy belly and sniff and snort. The kitty looks like she just LOVES it! Someday I will try to get a pix of that one…it’s really cute.

Belated Merry Christmas to you all! What a precious kitty. I’m happy for you all but know how much you’re missing your angel Jake. I miss him too. Took Toby in for his major check-up today. Final round of chemo tomorrow. No signs of cancer except for two broken ribs that can’t be explained. I’ll post more on his blog.. Hugs to all! Tina
